+ Nothing was ever supposed to come of Ronnie da Silva and Ari Telesco hooking up, it was a simple no strings attached arrangement. Not developing feelings was the easy part, it was the whole accidentally knocking Ronnie up part that really threw a wrench into things. Neither were ready to be parents or even thrilled with the idea, but it was Ari who ended up showing his true colors first by bailing shortly after Ronnie dropped the bomb on him. Perhaps being so young had a lot to do with it, but so did the fact that Ari really just had no desire to own up to his responsibilities. Being responsible for another life was clearly out of the question for him, however, in an attempt to remind him daily, when the child was born she was given Ari's last name. For the majority of Talia's life, all she knew of Ari was his name, despite some of his family being involved with her upbringing like her uncle Marius and her paternal grandfather. Still, neither were completely successful in getting Ari to step into the role of being a father but he never signed over parental rights either. It wasn't until Talia turned fourteen that he started making an attempt at getting to know his daughter, not that he acknowledged her as his offspring, but it was a start. By the time she was seventeen, the two had finally formed a small bond and had at least reached the point where she referred to Ari as 'dad' rather than by his first name. Long talks with her grandfather and Marius had also helped her reach that point.
+ Club life is her life, it's something she's grown up with and something she'll die with. She lets very few outsiders into her world because it's not only too risky but she's positive they wouldn't be able to handle the lifestyle. Her free time is often spent at the clubhouse if she doesn't have other plans, any function she's allowed to attend she's there, and will often do just about anything that's asked of her. Within reason, of course. Despite not being a patched member of the Fallen, she has easily sacrificed quite a bit for the club, though the guys wouldn't know that nor does Talia make it known. As far as the club was concerned all Tal has ever lost was her father and her longterm partner, Gunner. Plus, the only one she hold responsible for the other things she gave up was herself, choosing the club over her own happiness.
+ Around the start of middle school is when other factors began to play into Talia's life, her sixth grade math class is where she met Gunner Anderson, a kid that intrigued her and seemed different than the majority of the kids she hung out with. At the time she couldn't quite figure out what it was about him, but it didn't stop her from befriending him and learning to bend the rules a bit more than she usually did with Nora. Talia had always pushed her limits, but she was usually smart about it, or at the very least always had a way to get out of most situations she found herself in. It wasn't until the tenth grade when Talia's friendship with Gunner transformed into a romantic relationship, which caused Ari to really try and pull the parent card which lead to more than a few arguments between father and daughter. Gunner was the perfect boyfriend, which Talia chalked up to the fact that they had built such a solid foundation before things turned intimate. There was also the fact he was aware of club life, his father having transferred over from another chapter. That made things easier, for her at least, there was no having to hide part of herself when it came to Gunner.
+ Talia is ridiculously smart, both street and book wise. She's learned a lot from her family, her friends, and of course the club when it comes to having street sense and she's always been a bright student academically. Excelling in school was something important to Talia, even if she usually acted as if it wasn't, she dreamed of making something of herself as an adult so rather than send out a large number of college applications she narrowed it down to five, but there were only two that she truly wanted to attend. In March 2016, just a few months before her high school graduation, the responses started to filter in and when the one from Princeton arrived, she grabbed it from the mailbox and immediately headed to her best friends house. She had been accepted, her dream school actually wanted her, and she didn't even have the time to share the news with anyone else or truly soak in the fact that she had been accepted into one of the best Ivy league schools in the country. It wasn't more than a day or two before things between the Fallen and the Rogue Devils went to shit, and Tali made the decision right then and there that the club needed her more than she needed/wanted Princeton. She swore Nora to secrecy that she would never tell anyone about her college acceptance and proceeded to hide the welcome packet where nobody would find it.
+ While things between the two clubs heated up, with each side taking shots at each other (figuratively and literally at times), it was an incident in November 2017 that lead to the start of Tal's world crashing down. Her father and uncle had decided to take it upon themselves to target a warehouse used by the Devils and burn it to the ground. Ari ended up being caught while Marius managed to get back to the Angel's clubhouse. Before they could form a plan, or even deal with the stupidity of the two, Ari's body was tossed out the bed of a truck at the clubhouse's front gate three days later. Despite his body being burned, there was clear evidence that he had been beaten and tortured first. A video had been sent to the Fallen's president showing the beatings and the eventual cause of death - being doused in gasoline and set on fire to burn alive. The inner committee had made it a point to never let Talia see that footage, but word spread and she eventually overheard enough of the guys talking about it to put two and two together.
+ When Talia's uncle wanted revenge for his brother's death, he was met with quite a few opposed to the idea. Talia was on Marius' side, but she also didn't want to risk losing anymore members of her family. When the decision was made to not retaliate, she was furious, but also understood and just when she needed her uncle most, he up and left. Practically ripping the Detroit rocker off of his kutte, and has been a nomad ever since. Tal couldn't help but feel abandoned by him, the one member of her father's side that she was closest to. Sure, she had her grandfather, but it was undeniable the bond she had with Mar. Talia has not seen nor heard from her uncle since mid November 2017 and has accepted the fact he's likely not coming back. And if he does, it wouldn't be for her.
+ After the death of her father, Talia did her best to get her life on track. She ended up working for her mother, which wasn't an ideal job but she had wiggle room and probably got away with a lot more than any other employee would have. Plus, she had her little side businesses and gadgets that she made and sold online. There was also the things she did online in return for money, but nobody knew about that - except for Nora and Gunner (who occassionally participated). College was a topic that didn't come up often between Talia and her mom, but when it did, it usually ended just as quick as it was brought up. Tal doesn't want to admit she's bitter about walking away from attending Princeton, but she is. She's bitter about a few things, but such is life.
+ In October 2019, Gunner and Talia decided to get married on a whim. It was kept a secret from everybody, including Nora. While she knew it would upset a few people when they were eventually told, the couple really just wanted to enjoy the moment between themselves and set up for an actual ceremony years down the road. They had already gone through so much and it just made sense to the two of them. Talia never changed her last name, officially anyway, and always wore her wedding ring on a long chain hidden beneath her shirt. Earlier in the year, Gunner also became a prospect for the Fallen, with Tal's grandfather stepping up and offering to take him on as his sponsor. Tal wasn't sure how she felt about the idea, but at least she knew she could trust Pops to have her significant others back. That put her mind at ease.
+ For the most part everything seemed normal, at least until December 2019 when local authorities tried to jam up Talia's grandfather but couldn't make anything more significant stick. Gunner, thinking it was a great idea at the time, offered to take the fall to keep the older man out of prison since his sentencing would be longer given prior instances. Gunner wasn't the man they wanted, but with a written and signed confession, they had no other choice. It was a simple year long jail sentence, that would likely be shorter due to good behavior and the fact that they knew Gunner wasn't who they were after. Talia hated the idea, especially since he was taken into custody two weeks before Christmas. That didn't stop her from visiting every chance she had, despite the fact she was mad at both men. Gunner did mention that at least it would make Pops less likely to try and kill him when they came out about the marriage. While it made sense, it still didn't change the fact that she was annoyed with him. As the months passed, it got a little easier, Gunner remained in good spirits and kept talking like he was going to get out any day. There were other Fallen in jail, so he wasn't completely alone.
+ August 2020, two months before what would have not only been Gunner and Talia's first wedding anniversary but also his intended release date, he was stabbed multiple times while showering. To this day, Talia still doesn't understand why it happened. It made her relationship with her grandfather strained for quite some time, and it's still something she's trying to be okay with. Ultimately, it was Gunner's idea to take the fall instead, but part of her can't help but blame Pops for not just doing the time even if the sentencing would have been longer. She spent the first couple of months after Gunner's murder sleeping alongside his grave at night. When she was given his bag of personal belongings, she added his wedding ring to hers on the chain she wore.
+ Presently, Talia has gotten back to normal. Or at least as normal as she could be given all the loss she suffered in a short amount of time. Despite everything, she is still blindly loyal to the Fallen Angels, but still holds a slight grudge against them. Either way, they are her family and at this point, with the exception of her mom and Nora, they're all she has in the world.
